Each piece in this series is an abstract landscape crafted to evoke an

experience, a memory, and a light wave of nostalgia.

The work captures the moments in life that often seem fleeting and transient.

Christine and Sophia hope that the many layers of each painting allow onlookers to turn inward and

experience their own inner landscape of memories and sensory experiences. 

 

Thus, the term Soulscapes was born. 

 

The duo defines Soulscapes as the space within that has been shaped and formed by the full spectrum of

life’s experiences; no different than Earth’s terrain. Each layer, twist, and turn, holds history,

feelings, and memories waiting to be rediscovered. 

 

The overall inspiration for each piece is largely drawn from their own inner Soulscapes.
